- Insights Enabled in Company settings.
Enabling insights at the company level will ensure all ATMs can display transaction information in the fleet, device list, and device settings. This will also allow you to see cash levels and forecasting.
- Hercules RMS Enabled on ATMs
Enabling Hercules RMS enables ATM status, e-Journals, RMS rebooting, cash functions (bill counts, max cash, etc). First version of Hercules AI Auto-Healing.

- ATMs Configured for Standard 1 or 3 Terminal Status and Health Checks.
This is to provide data to Insights and future Hercules AI support. This setting is usually on by default at the ATM. If you have insights enabled and you see this info block in the devices insights panel, the configuration is needed at the ATM.

- Enable Alerts, Insights, and RMS access for User Accounts.
In order to be notified of Hercules AI events and use the 2 way SMS text messaging to trigger reboots, acknowledge incidents, or to disarm security features, users SMS text message alerts must be active AND they must be added to a schedule in the IMS Schedule Panel. This is especially important if you are using a Hercules Shield and Siren as you will be notified and able to disarm the Siren immediately if it is a false alarm. You also need to enable Insights Access for users that you want to view cash level data, and RMS Access for users you want to manage your ATMs.

- Ensure IMS Alarms/Schedules are Accurate and Users are Added.
Ensure that the selected alarms are appropriate and if you want to be notified of Inactivity. Inactivity can be noisy depending on how many machines are shut off daily and if they are shut off at consistent times (we can detect and suppress patterns). If the times of the schedule are not set to “All day, everyday” ensure the schedule times are correct and the appropriate hours are set to alert. Also ensure there are contacts added to the schedule. A warning is shown when no users are associated.
