The HD Restart 240 is intended to power cycle devices using a 220-240V~ circuit and will carry and power cycle 30A, 240V~ circuits. The internal switch is rated at 40A 277V~. The Restart 240 power cycles both hot wires. The neutral wire feeds through the product.
Standard electrical grommets are used and the product must be wired into the electrical system by qualified personnel to a circuit which is protected by a double pole 15A, 20A or 30A 240V~ overcurrent circuit breaker. Use of 10-14AWG wire sized to overcurrent device is required.

Note: If this product is used for 120V~, 30A then connect Neutral to H1 and Hot to H2.
The Hercules product adapter is supplied by a separate 120V~ source. Use the included 2m (6’) cable and connect it to the Hercules 15 pin port and to the 2-pin port marked “To Hercules”. The Tab must face up and the red wire must be to the right of the product and the black must be closest to the LED.
Note: 2m (6’) extensions for the DPL control wire are available.

Suitable for use indoors in dry locations between 0 and 60 degrees Celsius (32 – 140 F). This product is at proof-of-concept stage and is over engineered and made in Canada using high quality, safety certified components – however, the product itself has not yet been tested by an independent lab and therefore is not listed on any recognized safety authority’s site. Please contact DPL for the status of this testing.

These limited are designed to provide reasonable protection against harmful interference in a residential (and commercial) installation. This equipment generates, uses and can radiate radio frequency energy and, if not installed and used in accordance with the instruction manual, may cause harmful interference to radio communications. However, there is no guarantee that interference will not occur in a particular installation. If this equipment does cause harmful interference to radio or television reception, which can be determined by turning the equipment off (disconnection from AC main source) and on, the user is encouraged to try to correct the interference by one or more of the following measures: (1) Reorient or relocate the receiving antenna, (2) Increase the separation between the equipment and the receiver, (3) Connect the equipment into an outlet on a circuit different from that to which the receiver is connected and (4) Consult the dealer or an experienced radio/TV technician for help.
