The HD Restart is intended to power cycle devices that exceed the 500W rating of the ATM RESTART cable. The internal switch is rated at 40A 277V~. The HD Restart will carry and switch 15A, 125V~, 1875W circuits. The internal switch is rated at 40A 277V~.

To use the product, plug the 2m (6’) cord directly into a 15A 125V~ wall outlet and connect the load to the 1m (3’) output named “SWITCHED”. The Hercules power adapter may be plugged into the “Unswitched (For Hercules)” outlet. 

Use the 2m (6’) included cable and connect it to the Hercules 15 pin port and to the 2-pin port marked “To Hercules”. The Tab must face up, the red wire must be to the right of the product and the black must be closest to the LED.

Suitable for use indoors in dry locations between 0 and 60 degrees Celsius (32 – 140 F). This product is at proof-of-concept stage and is over engineered and made in Canada using high quality, safety certified components – however, the product itself has not yet been tested by an independent lab and therefore is not listed on any recognized safety authority’s site. Please contact DPL for the status of this testing.

Note that standard electrical grommets are used and the electrical cord supplied with this product may be removed by qualified personnel and wired to a circuit which is protected by a 15A 125 V~ overcurrent device. 2m (6’) extensions for the DPL control wire are available. See below for internal pictures of input (blue) and output (green) connections.

Note: This equipment has been tested and found to comply with the limits for a Class B digital device, pursuant to Part 15 of the FCC Rules. These limited are designed to provide reasonable protection against harmful interference in a residential (and commercial) installation. This equipment generates, uses and can radiate radio frequency energy and, if not installed and used in accordance with the instruction manual, may cause harmful interference to radio communications. However, there is no guarantee that interference will not occur in a particular installation. If this equipment does cause harmful interference to radio or television reception, which can be determined by turning the equipment off (disconnection from AC main source) and on, the user is encouraged to try to correct the interference by one or more of the following measures: (1) Reorient or relocate the receiving antenna, (2) Increase the separation between the equipment and the receiver, (3) Connect the equipment into an outlet on a circuit different from that to which the receiver is connected and (4) Consult the dealer or an experienced radio/TV technician for help.
