Adding custom IDs and/or names to ATMs in the Hercules Portal enables you to search for an ATM using these criteria in addition to being able to search by ATM terminal ID and Hercules serial number.
Adding custom descriptions and service related information to the “Notes” field, is a great way to track and share important information amongst technicians.
To add a custom ID, name, description, or notes to an ATM complete the following steps:
Click the “Devices” icon from the menu navigation on the left.
Select the device you would like to customize.
Click the “Settings” tab in the top right corner of the window.
Enter a custom ID, name, or description in each respective field.
To add a custom note click the icon to the left of "Open Notes"
Click the "New Note" button.
To create a new "note category" click "Manage Categories". Enter a name in the "Add a new category" field and click the "Add" button. To use the newly created note category click the dropdown arrow to the right of the "Category" field.
Enter the custom note in the "Note" field. When done, click the "Add" button to add the custom note.
