You can activate Hercules modems several ways:
- Call our technical support department toll free at 1-800-561-8880
- Texting the word “activate” to 1-774-338-3187 (learn how)
- Emailing support@dplwireless.com
- In the Hercules Portal (learn how)
- Initiating a live chat conversation with a technical support representative via the Help tab while logged into the Hercules Portal
Verify the Hercules Modem has been successfully activated in the Hercules Portal
You can verify your Hercules modem(s) have been successfully activated in the Hercules Portal by:
1. Logging in to the Hercules Portal.
2. Click the “Devices” icon from the menu navigation on the left.
3. Search for the Hercules modem you wish to verify was successfully activated from the list.
4. View the icon in the Health column to the left of the devices serial number. If a green circle icon with a checkmark in the center is present, the Hercules modem has been successfully activated, and is ready to begin processing transactions.*
*Green circle icon with a checkmark in the center will only be displayed for Hercules modems that are installed in an ATM.
Hercules modems activated but not installed in an ATM will display a grey circle icon with an "i" in the center.
If any other icon is displayed, tap or click the device to view additional details related to the connectivity status of the device.
