To transfer ownership of a Hercules wireless modem from one company to another you must first contact DPL’s technical support department by; calling 1-800-561-8880; emailing firstname.lastname@example.org; or via online chat while logged in to the Hercules Portal.
Please be prepared to provide your name, email address, company name, serial number(s) of the device(s) you wish to transfer and the email address of the person to whom ownership will be transferred.
Once the device transfer request is submitted, the DPL technical support representative will email you the Device Transfer Form to complete, e-sign and date. The form will then automatically be emailed to the transferee for them to input their information, e-sign, and date.
If the transferee is an existing DPL customer DPL's Accounts Payable representative will verify that their payment information is up-to-date and will then e-sign and date the Device Transfer Form.
If the transferee is becoming a DPL customer for the first time, the Accounts Payable representative will contact them to collect their payment information and will then e-sign and date the Device Transfer Form.
Once the device transfer is complete each party will receive the completed Device Transfer Form via email for their records.
The transferee will now be billed monthly for the wireless connectivity fees associated with the transferred device(s) and will be able to remotely manage them in the Hercules Portal.
